These slings are specifically manufactured for mountaineering, rock climbing and security.
The various components of the safety chain (harness, rope, karabiners, tape, slings, anchors, belaying devices, descenders) should conform to UIAA or EN Standards.
Check that this product is compatible with the other components of your equipment.
When a sling is used as positioning lanyard, never climb above the anchor point.
PRECAUTIONS
The slings must be protected from sharp edges and other mechanical hazards.
When affected by water or ice they become much more sensitive to abrasion and lose strength: redouble your precautions.
The temperature in which they are stored or used must never exceed 80°C. The melting temperature of polyamide is 215 °C, that of Dyneema is 145°C and that of polyester is 260° C.
